Paros owns a beautiful natural landscape and 120 km of coastline, it has endless beaches with blonde sand, green mountains and steep villages.


Within a short distance from Athens, by ferry, Paros is easily accessible from the port of Piraeus and the port of Rafina as well as by air. Moreover, the proximity to the popular Islands of the Cyclades, such as Mykonos, Santorini and Naxos make the island an ideal choice.



Scenic villages





At a distance of 700 meters from our villa there is the picturesque and beautiful village of Prodromos. The white houses form narrow alleys, which you will experience passing by on foot through the gate of the village, a vaulted arch with a bell tower. You can rest in the traditional cafes of the village, enjoying the local appetizers (mezes), overlooking the Parian houses with the well-cared courtyards. A special attraction of the area is the Byzantine path that once connected Marpissa with Lefkes village crossing Prodromos.


Lefkes (3.7 km) is the greenest village of Paros, so by strolling through its streets or visiting the many churches of the village, one hears the cicadas, and at dusk the crickets. It was the capital of Paros during the Middle Ages and is full of small traditional whitewashed houses with Venetian architecture, beautiful churches and windmills. The village is particularly touristic, as it attracts many visitors during the summer months.


Marpissa (2 km) It is built amphitheatrically on a small hill and allows for another walk in the picturesque streets, with Aegean atmosphere and many old houses. It is also considered one of the most beautiful villages of Paros. The houses of the village are so beautiful (16th and 17th century).


Piso Livadi (3.4 km) A crystal clear sandy beach with salt cedars, offering their shade to the swimmers, in the homonymous village. In its small picturesque port there are great restaurants serving delicious fresh seafood and ouzo mezes (appetizers), leaving no one untouched, and bars, where each summer are full of life. At one end there are children's hearths in the sand. Alternatively you can plan a day trip to other Cyclades islands (Naxos, Koufonisia, Ios, Santorini and Amorgos).


Aliki (19 km) A beautiful fishing village, with its picturesque port, taverns and Piso Aliki beach with white pebbles and salt cedars up to where the wave bursts. It is located in the southernmost part of Paros. You will find fresh fish in its beautiful taverns. Next to the port, another beautiful beach is suitable for swimming in its crystal clear blue waters.

Naoussa (9.7 km) is one of the most beautiful fishing villages in Greece, having reserved its authentic island character as well as its cosmopolitan glamour. Nowadays the old fishermen's warehouses have been converted into taverns, cafes and ouzo places, serving fresh seafood snacks. The cafés and bars cause a stir in the evening when people come from all over the island to have fun until late hours.



Parikia



Parikia, (14 km) the capital of Paros, with its passenger and commercial port and the white-washed windmill, as its trademark, is built in the bay of the island. It has beautiful settlements and if you walk through its alleys, it will enchant you. It is continuously inhabited from antiquity until today and as a result its history begins from the depths of the centuries. There are many restaurants around, taverns, bars for all tastes.



Nearby beaches





Logaras (3.5 km): It is a long sandy beach, with green blue waters awarded with the Blue Flag by the European Union. Under the salt cedars, many can easily find shelter, while the sea bottom is ideal for those who want to fish with a speargun. There are restaurants, cafes, bars in front of the waves.


Molos (3.5 km): In an idyllic spot with endless sand, in a charming, wild landscape, which gives the feeling of isolation. It is a great place for children’s swimming and beginners because the water is shallow. Bay ideal for beginners and experienced surfers.


Kalogeros (3.2 km): Right next to the long sandy beach of Molos, there is the smallest beach of Kalogeros. Characteristic of the beach is the special color of the sand, due to the clay rocks of the area. You can enjoy a free spa with clay on the beach.


Punta (3.4 km): The beach of Punta attracts the preferences of young people mainly. There are two organized beach-bars and bazar.


Dryos (6 km): A beautiful beach, in the homonymous picturesque village with its lush vegetation. There are seaside taverns and bars around.


Tsoukalia (2.8 km): A dreamy beach with sand and pebbles. Lovely nature and quietness.


Golden Beach (6.5 km): Its sandy beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. It is the largest beach of Paros, a real paradise for those who love the sea and water sports. The conditions are ideal for sailing activities. It’s been awarded the European Union Blue Flag.
